DAY 1

The Miracle Berry Cave is one of the greatest indoor activity on the Balaton Upland. The cave tour starts in Balatonederics, only a kilometer from the lake. You reach the entrance of the cave with a 30 minutes walk and the adventure starts here. You will do a 3 hours spelunking in the depth of the Keszthelyi Mountains with a lot of climb and crawl, but the tour still works for beginners.

After caving we invite you a delicious Hungarian dish in a local restaurant. You need energy because on the afternoon you are going to climb the Keszthelyi Mountains. On the edge of the mountain a beautiful trail is snaking in the forest with marvelous view of the Tapolcai Basin, the Balaton Lake and the old volcanoes of Saint George Mountain, Gulács and Badacsony.

The hike takes 3 hours to Nemesvita, a picturesque village on the foot of the montains, where the houses and wine cellars have thatched roofs and small gardens. Your private transportation take you back to your hotel from Nemesvita. 

We do not recommend the caving trip for people with agoraphobia and claustrophobia.
